Most people will try to copy the look of one of their favourite stars at one time or another by looking at a photo and trying to get their makeup just like that. Nine out of ten times we will look nothing like the picture before us, but we may hold onto the idea that if we just get the combination of makeup right we will look like our idol. What leads from this is that some people will spend a fortune trying to get the look right but the following are some reasons why this could well be a waste of time.

 

- The one thing that celebrities have that you probably won’t have is a professional makeup artist on hand to apply their makeup. Unless we can afford to employ such people ourselves then we are going to find it hard to recreate their results. Makeup artists not only have a lot of talent but they have also been trained and have a lot of experience. You can be sure that a celebrities makeup will not look the same when they apply it themselves.

 

- Unless you have the same facial features of your favourite celebrity then it is going to be difficult to look like them using makeup. Their makeup artist will have chosen what to use based on the facial features of the star in question and so it could be completely inappropriate for your face. Makeup that flatters one person may not do the same for another person.

 

- When a star is having makeup put on it will usually be for a specific purpose; for example it might just be for a photo shoot. So the same look might not be something that would be used for a night out.

 

When it comes to makeup and the price of it you will find that money is no object for most celebrities whereas most of us could not afford to spend the same amount on makeup.

 

When women go out for the night, they never leave the house without their make up. Of course, the most popular items of makeup are eye make up and lip gloss. At the end of the day, makeup is focused on enhancing beauty and self-esteem.
