With Christmas coming up I thought I would go and get my long suffering spouse several make up for Christmas. At this moment being a man I’m no specialist on the subject but I had a quick look at the make up my partner owned to get an idea of colors, brand etc and thought I was being a bit clever! Following going to several shops I couldn’t consider how much branded make up cost. So I went home and decided to look online instead.

I found a site, made a purchase and two days later a package arrived and is currently under the tree waiting to score brownie points. I couldn’t think how simple it was (no shopping which we blokes hate anyway) and almost 50% off what they were charging inside the shops.

So I thought I would write a quick guide so other men (and women even!) be able to make the same savings.

When buying makeup online its principal to make sure you are not buying a sample or tester. Think it or not there are web sites out there selling testers With nice white labels. Currently if you are unfortunate adequate to by one of these and provide it to you beloved then my guidance would be to take cover up!

Also how do you know the web site is trust worthy? You pay your cash but will you get the make up? Healthy there are a couple of things you be able to test to make sure the website is an established company. Firstly do a search in google With the site name, if the site has a long list other sites linking to it then this is a groovy indication the site is fit established. You can even do a search on the whois database to see how long the site has been up.

Is the site secure when making payments? Alot of sites exercise SSL (secure socket layer) to secure there online payments that’s the padlock in the browser. This is significant if payments are taken on the site. BUT a lot of online makeup companies handling an external payment provider like paypal, world pay, secure pay etc so you order the make up go to their site to make a payment then return to the make up site. Rule of thumb here is along as there is a padlock when making the payment your ok.
