Warts are extremely common and are typically considered as harmless. Warts are contagious and can stay on your skin for years if not treated. This process involves the application of duct tape on your warts and then peeling it off after a few days. Do this repeatedly until the warts are all gone. The vitamin C methods involves continuous rubbing of the tablet on the warts until it cannot be seen anymore. Repeat until you are pleased with the result. The use of lemon juice and garlic to rub warts are effective as well. You can also soak wart affected areas in hot water. Doing this for 15 minutes every day can destroy the warts.
Doctors, on the other hand, use surgical methods to treat warts. One of them is by using a light electrical current to burn the warts. Cryosurgery, on the other hand freezes them with liquid nitrogen.
The use of salicylic acid is effective at removing warts. By applying this everyday after a shower or bath, you will be able to file away the dead surface of warts.
The use of cantharidin can also achieve good results. The process begins with application of this chemical compound and bandaged until the wart can be removed.
Laser treatment is another popular way to treat warts although they can leave a scar after treatment. This is always used as the last option as it is expensive to undergo this treatment.
There is another way to treat warts that is used by some cultures. They use the power of mind and hypnosis. It is believed that the power of the mind can cure those irritating warts.
