After trying the Derma-roller for myself, I have to admit it is the best gadget I have EVER used! I wasn’t confident in the product to begin with, I mean, how can a few needles help to remove stretch marks? But seeing as it was recommended to me and nothing else had worked on the stretch marks on my thighs and tummy so, I decided to give it a whirl. I chose to order a 1.0mm Dermaroller so as not to go too small or too large and it still looked a little daunting as I opened the packet, so I was glad I didn’t go any bigger.

At first it gave me an unusual prickling sensation, and I wasn’t sure whether I liked the sensation or not, but as I got used to it I hardly even felt it. I found it much easier to use on my thighs then my belly because I am really ticklish, so I just sat laughing when rolling my stomach.

I use my Dermaroller every week day with the cream and then give it the weekend off for my skin to heal. It only took about one and a half weeks for me to really notice the difference. My stretch marks were much less pronounced, they were lighter in colour and shorter in length. My skin even felt tougher!

About a month after using the Dermaroller and cream my stretch marks have almost gone! My confidence in my body and in general has rocketed and I have absolutely no doubt that they will continue to improve and maybe one day, fingers crossed, they will be completely healed!
