A. Phosphoric Acid - Active Element In Most Sodas

Severe Health Side Effects of Phosphoric ‘Acid’:

* The phosphoric acid found in pops binds with the minerals: calcium, magnesium and zinc. These minerals are afterward lost in the urine.

* Soda drinkers are liable to suffer from a shortfall in vitamin A, and the minerals: calcium, magnesium and zinc. Everyone of these nutrients are INDISPENSABLE to the well-being of your skin!

* ‘Acid’ starts to dissolve tooth enamel in barely 20 minutes. Can you imagine what it is doing somewhere else in your body?

* Studies show that the ‘acid’ depletes bones and skin of calcium, and girls who consume more pop have an added risk of broken bones.

* A primary contributor to the rising growth in osteoporosis.

Frank recommendation: You should avoid ALL soft drinks, as a component of a healthy psoriasis diet.

Note: If you think Mountain Dew is a ‘better’ choice - don’t!! See nerdparadise .com - Science - Mountain Dew … “sadly, the humor fails to mask the health effects of ‘dewing’ it”.

B. Liquids With Sugars Added

The Mar 93′ copy of the TOWNSEND LETTER FOR DOCTORS presented a list of ways in which ‘added’ sugar is considered to be detrimental to the health of your skin:

* immune system suppression - taboo for each and every one with psoriasis

* decreases defenses against infection; reduces healing response

* leads to calcium, magnesium and zinc mineral deficiencies - vital minerals for everyone, not just psoriasis sufferers

* promotes the onset of degenerative disease

Advice for a winning psoriasis treatment: If you enjoy sweeteners (not too much now!) then use unpasteurized honey, maple syrup or molasses - all alkaline, meaning they contain minerals.

C. Liquids Containing Artificial Sweeteners

1. Aspartame is the scientific designation for the brand names NutraSweet, Equal, Spoonful, and Equal-Measure.

Aspartame accounts for over 75% of the negative responses to food additives made known to the Food and Drug Administration, amongst them skin rashes. Contains Methanol (wood alcohol), a lethal toxin.

Psoriasis sufferers - never drink or eat anything that contains this concoction.

2. Sucralose is formed by the selective ‘chlorination’ of sucrose. It is 600 times sweeter than sugar. It is an inorganic mixture not readily metabolized by the human body.

Sucralose is used in minute quantities in Splenda. It is so sweet that they have to add bulking agents (99% by weight) called Dextrose and Maltodextran (sugars) to those small packets we put in our coffee and tea. See health effects of sugars, above.

Over the long haul, the health effects of sucralose on individuals has yet to be established. Psoriasis sufferers - stay away from Sucralose, and the 4500+ other compounds containing it!
