Most unnatural liquids are not good for the human body, and ‘immune system diseases’ like psoriasis are even more sensitive to the harmful cocktails that we ingest everyday. Here are the worst culprits…

Municipal Water

Most municipal water systems in the USA and Canada are processed waters taken from a variety of sources such as lakes, rivers and aquifers.

Waters are treated with cavity-preventing (not proven) fluoride, and chlorine - one of the deadliest compounds ever used by man in the trenches of World War 1. Factor in the lead that leaks from old metal piping in many homes, and you have a toxic combination that can seriously impact your health.

In March 2008, CBS News reported that low concentrations of a vast array of pharmaceuticals have been found in the drinking water supplies of at least 41 million Americans.

Scientific studies determined that low-level exposure to ‘chance’ combinations of numerous pharmaceuticals had a serious health impact on cells in both humans and wildlife.

The EPA has expressed concerns about the ability of the nation’s water treatment plants to remove pharmaceuticals, various hormones and spurious chemicals that are routinely dumped into our water supply.

If you currently have psoriasis, then you should be particularly concerned about ‘any’ exposure to the countless drug and chemical combinations that might be found in your drinking water.

Recommendation for a successful natural cure for psoriasis: Avoid drinking tap water. There are healthier options.

Bottled Waters Made From Tap Water

All those bothered by psoriasis should avoid bottled waters reprocessed from municipal water systems. Examples are…

Aquafina - reverse osmosis filtered ‘tap water’ purified with charcoal filtration and ozonation. Available in carbonated and flavored varieties sweetened with sucralose*.

Dasani - reverse osmosis filtered ‘tap water’ with trace amounts of man-made minerals added. Available in flavored varieties sweetened with sucralose*.

*sucralose - controversial chlorinated sugar. It is NOT natural.

Waters Treated by Distillation and Reverse Osmosis

Strangely enough, drinking distilled or reverse osmosis water (with the goal of protecting us from toxins) may have been our own undoing.

These waters are devoid of minerals, and produce a ‘leaching’ effect in our body of such key minerals as calcium.

And, don’t let any water sales person tell you that distilled or reverse osmosis is the ‘number 1′ water to drink. Back in the 1950s, they used to use distilled water to top up automobile batteries, along with a CAUTION “not fit for human consumption”.

Oh, how the times have changed!

Moral: If you are searching for a psoriasis cure, let it start with what you drink!
