Reducing Wrinkles Has Never Been Easier
I often think back to my youth and wonder why I didn’t take more simple and easy steps to prevent and reduce wrinklesthat have shown up since. Living in the 21st century has its benefits, though, since modern science, combined with a bit of common sense, has established some very effective ways to reduce the wrinkles that we weren’t able to prevent.
Have you ever thought about how you would feel if you suddenly looked 5 or 10 years younger? What would your friends and coworkers say when they saw you? People that you barely know would probably be coming up to you and asking you how you had managed to look so much younger.
While there is no magic remedy, there are ways to slow the onset of wrinkles and even reverse some of the wrinkles you may have now. While this is just the tip of the iceberg, these steps are used by anyone who actually wants to prevent and reduce wrinkles.
These 5 tips are things that you absolutely must do in order to keep your skin looking younger:
- Fruit! I’m not going to harp on whether or not you eat too much pizza or cake, but even if you do, please eat more fruit. The proteins in your skin that are responsible for keeping your skin elastic and strong rely on the Vitamin C in fruits. If you’re not getting enough, you won’t produce enough new proteins to keep your skin wrinkle-free.
- Get better sleep! It’s really most important that you get enough sleep, but even if you don’t, here’s something else to consider. If you can, avoid sleeping on your face. Sleeping on your face for years and years will only rush along the wrinkles that may have come later otherwise.
- Protect yourself from the Sun! The sun is actually good for you in some ways, but you also need to protect your skin from UV-A rays. In order to do so, make sure you use a sunscreen that contains one of Mexoryl SX, Titanium Dioxide, Avobenzone, or Zinc Oxide.
- Drink water! There are many long term benefits to making sure that you intake enough water, but even if you’re only looking for a quick-fix, staying hydrated will immediately smooth out a few wrinkles.
By no means is this an exhaustive list of ways to reduce wrinkles. More complicated procedures (Botox and Laser surgery) are becoming more and more common, which is fine, but I’d really suggest that you try more traditional and time-test approaches first.
Wrinkles are a worrisome fact of life, but fortunately, they are a fact of life that can be postponed for some time with the proper care, treatment, and prevention. Starting today is really the key to making a reality of that day 2-3 months down the road when you look in the mirror and see a younger you. Believe me, you will thank yourself!
